While construction is nearing completion and the interior is prepped, the film <\/span><b>Bouwgrond<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is released! The film tells the story of the architecture, history and future of the depot. A true must see for everyone who loves the city. Photographer and filmographer Ruben Hamelink was inspired by the poem \u2018Bouwgrond\u2019 its accompanying music, by poet M. and the musician Winterdagen. He used both in a 7 minute film to reflect on the construction of the icon. Keep track of the release on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/427828964930620\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facebook<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and tune in on Thursday 21 Januari 2021 at 20:15 on YouTube.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The film takes you all the way back to the beginning. Back to 2017 when M. and Winterdagen we\u2019re invited by Parfum de BoemBoem to visit the construction site, which would become the depot. Here, they spoke with architect Winy Maas (MVRDV) and museum director Sjarel Ex. Both artists took inspiration from the conversation and turned it into spoken word and music.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filmographer Ruben Hamelink added film and dance to the mix transforming the piece, much like the city that\u2019s in a constant state of transformation.
