[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/1″][vc_column_text]Do you know when a beer tastes even better? When it’s sustainably brewed! Harmen van Deuren, General Manager of Stadshaven Brouwerij, knows why. In his state of the art beer brewery, all the technologies are aimed at brewing beer in a circular way. This has led to an innovative company with a delicious end result!<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with Port of Rotterdam and Gemeente Rotterdam, they gathered all the knowledge to develop a sustainable brewing process. This resulted in a unique circular brewery. For example, they are working with Rainmaker to examine whether waste water can be used as brewing water. Bostel, the by-product of beer, is also used to feed cows of Floating Farm. And guess what: they like it! Thanks to the bostel cows produce up to 1000 liter milk per year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening of Stadshaven Brewery is planned for spring 2021. From then on we can enjoy delicious (and sustainable) beer. We like the taste of that!<\/span><\/p>\n
