The first indoor market hall of the Netherlands is designed by renowned architecture firm MVRDV. The Markthal is open 7 days per week until 8 p.m. and has 100 fresh produce units, 15 food shops, 8 restaurants and 228 apartments. More than 4.000 colourful tiles cover the inside of the arch and forms the largest artwork in the Netherlands: The Horn of Plenty, designed by Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam.
