Moments Contained is the almost 4 meter high bronze sculpture of a young, fictional woman of color in sneakers, hands clenched in the pockets of her tracksuit. With an appearance of resilience, self-confidence and vulnerability. The statue is located on Stationsplein, directly in front of Central Station. The woman does not stand on a pedestal, but with both feet on the ground. The sculpture was made by the English artist Thomas J Price and was donated to the city of Rotterdam by the Droom en Daad Foundation. it is part of the International Sculpture Collection of Rotterdam. The statue was unveiled in early June 2023.
