The development of the Rotterdam Central District is driven by a committed and diverse team of professionals and entrepreneurs. Two organizations—the BIZ RCD Foundation and the RCD Association—work daily to create a city district that is ready for the future.
The BIZ RCD Foundation consists of the property owners within the area. Together, they invest in a safe, attractive, and sustainable living environment. The BIZ draws up the annual plan, manages the budget, and ensures the implementation of projects in the fields of livability, mobility, climate adaptation, and development.
The RCD Association is the driving force behind the community. All users of the area are welcome here: from multinationals and entrepreneurs to residents, creatives, and cultural institutions. The association organizes events, strengthens and connects the network of entrepreneurs, and increases the visibility of RCD.
