Our headquarters on Weena is located where everything comes together—from established businesses to start-ups, from temporary and raw to refined and sustainable. Examples of Our Local Initiatives

Through our Cooperative Dividend, we support initiatives that contribute to healthy, vibrant neighbourhoods and thriving clubs and associations. Every year, we organise the Rabo ClubSupport campaign, allowing our members to decide which local clubs and community organisations receive financial support.

Through the Rabo Cooperative Fund Rotterdam, we also support initiatives by foundations and associations every quarter. By investing part of our profits, we contribute to social, sustainable and innovative projects, while also supporting sport, music and culture.

Start-ups, scale-ups and other innovative businesses are driving the economy forward through their capacity to innovate. They play a vital role in addressing today’s societal challenges. To support them, we introduced the Rabo Innovation Contribution: a financial boost designed specifically for entrepreneurs in the earliest stages of innovation.

A Partner to the City

Achieving meaningful results starts with strong collaboration. That is why, in 2020, Rabobank Rotterdam and the Municipality of Rotterdam signed a memorandum of understanding, formally establishing Rabobank as a partner of the city. The agreement outlines the areas in which the municipality, residents and entrepreneurs can rely on our financial support, expertise, people and extensive network.
