Smart City

The story of our city with smart solutions for everyone.

Rotterdam is a city where smart solutions are put into practice. In the port, across the city and through collaboration between businesses, knowledge institutions, government and residents, new ideas are emerging that contribute to an accessible and future-proof city. Technology plays an important role, always with the aim of making the city better and more liveable.

Smart progress is something we create together. Knowledge institutions, startups, businesses and other partners work side by side on practical solutions for the future. It is not just about technology, but also about collaboration, quality of life and practical applications that make a real difference to the city.

Rotterdam aims to position itself as a practical and results-driven city. Not by simply talking about innovation, but by putting smart solutions into action and creating space for new ideas. This is how Rotterdam shows what it stands for: entrepreneurial, innovative and smart.
